David Alioto
President & CEO

David Alioto is an accomplished logistics executive with extensive experience in operations, strategic planning, business development, financing, and management. He has held leadership positions in several market-leading logistics companies, including Zenith Global Logistics, STI, 3PD, and Danzas Corporation, and has experience in the international supply chain and the domestic logistics market in China and the United States.

David is known for his successful business initiatives, including his role as President and CEO of EShippers Management, where he reorganized the company and launched a new business model that made it a premier web-based shipping management service for online purchases. He also founded and managed Residential Delivery Services, a nationwide logistics business that achieved a 400% increase in revenues and secured $15,000,000 in venture capital funding from investors, including United Parcel Service. David's strong leadership and strategic vision have led to his successful initiatives, including building strategic alliances with top US companies and forming joint ventures with companies throughout Asia. He holds a BA in Business Administration from Principia College.

Matt Alioto
VP Technology Services

Matt Alioto is an experienced software engineer and engineering manager, having worked at companies such as IBM, Vistaprint, and Wayfair. At Wayfair, Matt was a key developer on the company's early pricing, shipping estimation, and inventory systems before moving into a Release Engineering role. There, he developed a new build, release, and deployment system that reduced time-to-deployment from days to minutes for all .NET developers, and led the team that migrated the entire codebase to GitHub. More recently, he led the team building internal tools for Wayfair's Brand Creative division.

Matt's passion for technology development is matched by his passion for history, civics, and travel. He volunteers as an election supervisor, teaches a course for Gem City Tech, and recently walked 250 miles along the Camino trail in Spain. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and attended the US Military Academy at West Point.

Rick Barry
Central West

Mr. Barry is a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame. In 1996, he was named one of the 50 Greatest Players in history by the NBA. Rick is the only player to have lead the NCAA, ABA and NBA in scoring for a single season. Mr. Barry has been involved in many business ventures, including water, computer software development, venture capital, mining and basketball facilities.

Brad Daugherty
Midwest

Mr. Daugherty is a 5-time NBA All-Star and was the first overall pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 1986 NBA Draft. Brad retired as the Cavaliers all-time leading scorer and rebounder until LeBron James broke his record in 2008. Brad is the co-owner of NASCAR Cup Series team JTG Daugherty Racing.

Dave Cowens
North

Mr. Cowens is a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame. He was instrumental in leading the Boston Celtics to several national championships. He was recognized as NBA Rookie of the Year in 1971 and the 1973 NBA Most Valuable Player. Dave built a successful career as a coach after the NBA. He has also owned several businesses, managed a basketball camp as well as being involved with several charities.

Matt Doherty
South

Mr. Doherty is a college basketball champion. He started on the 1982 North Carolina Tar Heels basketball team that won the NCAA Division I Basketball Tournament. His teammates included NBA greats Michael Jordan, James Worthy, Sam Perkins and Kenny Smith. Matt has been a collegiate coach, commentator and NBA Scout. Matt was most recently the Atlantic 10 Conference’s associate commissioner for men’s college basketball.

Rick Barry

NBA Hall of Fame

Rick Barry is a celebrated NBA player, recognized for his scoring ability and competitiveness on the court. He was a 12-time All-Star during his 14-year professional career, which included time with the San Francisco Warriors, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, and several other teams. He is one of the 50 Greatest NBA Players and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1987.

Since retiring from basketball, Mr. Barry has been involved in several business ventures and has served as an executive or advisor in multiple companies, including water, computer software development, venture capital, mining, and basketball facilities. He lives in Colorado Springs with his wife, Lynn, who is also an accomplished athlete and executive. Mr. Barry is leveraging his global network of business relationships to support the growth of Probity Enterprises with leading manufacturers and retailers.

Joseph Blair

Joseph Blair is an experienced investment banker who began his career with Kidder Peabody and Credit Suisse First Boston in New York. He formed his own advisory firm in the 1990s and has worked with business owners and institutional investors such as pension funds and endowments. Joe has held executive positions in banking and asset management for several leading regional brokerage firms, including Advest, Inc., Commerce Bank, WSFS, First Niagara, and Univest.

Joe holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, a Master's degree from Harvard Kennedy School/Graduate School of Design, and a Bachelor's degree cum laude from Harvard College. He has also taught economics as an instructor at Harvard and currently serves on the board of directors for MusicWorks Music Therapy and the National Disability Institute.

Caroline Aptaker

CEO Emeritus,
Optotest Corporation

Caroline Aptaker is an experienced business executive who previously served as the CEO and Owner of OptoTest Corporation, a company that manufactures fiber optic test equipment for the telecommunications industry. With a career in the fiber optics industry since 1994, Caroline has focused on developing sales networks around the world and working closely with markets to determine new market territories and industry testing requirements. Optotest was acquired by Santec Corporation on November 9, 2021

Prior to her time at OptoTest Corporation, Caroline worked for Greenlee/Textron, where she was responsible for creating a unified structure for two different sales teams through acquisition. Caroline holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix in Arizona and an Associate's degree from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, PA.

Ken Goldman

President,
Hillspire LLC

Ken Goldman is an experienced CFO and board member with over 40 years of experience. He is currently the president of Hillspire LLC, a family office for Eric Schmidt and Wendy Schmidt, and oversees financial and administrative functions, as well as real estate, aviation, and maritime activities. Ken has held CFO positions at multiple public and private companies, including Yahoo!, Fortinet, and Siebel Systems, and has helped take three companies public.

Ken's experience also includes board director, audit committee chairman, and financial advisory roles at over 40 corporate boards, with more than 10 companies going public while he was a board member. He currently serves on the board of directors for several companies, including NXP Semiconductor, Trinet, RingCentral, Zuora, and GoPro Inc., and is the consulting CFO for Pattern Computer Inc. He also serves on several nonprofit boards, including the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Foundation board and the RFK Human Rights board.

Ken holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, windsurfing, kiteboarding, and golf.

Rick Moradian

Rick Moradian is a global supply chain executive with functional expertise in domestic and international transportation, warehousing, ecommerce and retail fulfillment services for over 30 years.  Rick is the prior President and CEO of  DTC Logistics, the leading provider of supply chain services for the wine industry. 

Prior to DTC, Rick was the CEO of Fleetgistics, the CEO of Service Craft Logistics - the North American division of Sumitomo Logistics, and the President of APL Logistics for Asia and the Middle East region. 

​Rick has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Oxford University's Said school of business.

E. Jack Stewart

Managing Director,
Venture Capital Fund of New England

Jack Stewart is currently the managing director of the Venture Capital Fund of New England “VCFNE”. Jack has been involved in early stage New England venture capital for over 25 years, first as a partner of Corning Venture Management for over 19 years, followed by his forming Kestrel Venture Management in 1995, and currently as a founding partner of VCFNE. 

Individually, Mr. Stewart has had an active and successful turn-around career with numerous New England-based industrial companies. In addition to his full-time capacity with VCFNE, Jack is also an active advisor to three other venture capital groups in the Boston area.

Mr. Stewart holds a BS degree from Yale and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Len Elmore

Senior Lecturer, Columbia University

Len Elmore is a former collegiate basketball All American at The University of Maryland and a ten-year professional basketball player with the American Basketball Association and National Basketball Association. In addition, Len is an attorney and a 35-year sports television announcer, having worked with ESPN, CBS Sports and Fox Sports/FS1. Upon conclusion of his professional basketball career in 1984, Len received his law degree from Harvard Law School in 1987 as the first NBA player to graduate from that institution.

Len has served as a prosecutor in Kings County (Brooklyn), New York, as Of Counsel and Senior Counsel with several noted law firms, the principal in a sports management company, and a private sector business leader. Currently, Len is Senior Lecturer in the Columbia University Sports Management Program where he was awarded the 2019 Dean’s Excellence Award.

From February 2007 until February of 2020, Len served as a Director on the Board of Directors of Lee Enterprises, Inc., a leading newspaper publishing company. He presently serves as a director on the public company board of 1800Flowers.com and on the board of Byrna Technologies, Inc. In August 2020, Len was appointed to the Board of Advisors for The Shirley Povich Center at The University of Maryland College Park Merrill School of Journalism. He also remains involved with several charitable organizations. Len was the prior commissioner on the Knight Commission for Intercollegiate Athletics, where he chaired the Racial Equity Task Force.

Len was selected to serve as the Faculty Speaker for Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies (SPS) Graduation, morning ceremony, for the Class of 2022 on May 13, 2022.

Len holds a B.A., from the University of Maryland, College Park and a J.D. from Harvard University.

Wade Vesey

Special Advisor, Innovation Endeavors

Wade Vesey has over 25 years in executive positions ranging from $6 billion start-up Nextel (11th employee; sold to Sprint) to various C-Level positions in Silicon Valley High-Tech companies, including Movial NA (CEO; asset sale to Microsoft), Aeris (founder, $80 million revenue growth in 4 years; Kostella Kirsh, Verdane Ventures), Ceon (Sutter-Hill/Accel/TCV; sold to Infosys), and Sonim (APAX, Bertelsmann, 3i Ventures; public on Nasdaq “SONM”).

Mr. Vesey was most recently Chief Commercial Officer for Third Wave Automation, a producer of next generation fully autonomous forklifts, where he structured a strategic partnership (including commercial agreement) with global leader Toyota for all of their materials handling vehicles and helped raise a $40 million Series B investment from Norwest, Eclipse Ventures and Innovation Endeavors. Wade holds an MBA from Harvard University and BA from Claremont McKenna College.
